Sigh... this series just puts a smile on my face :). Meet little Murph, the coolest kid in town. Chris and I went on an adventure with Murph and his rad rents,
Alyssa & Rich, while we were in Upstate New York last week. I'm knee deep in lots of edits but this series just grabbed my heart strings like mad so I just had to share. This is Murph chasing me down in the rain, the shutter is just slow enough that you can see the rain drops in some, but mostly I just love the pure energy and freedom in these frames.
Is it just me or does life feel like it is just flying? I don't know where my days are going. Yesterday I sat down at my computer at 7:30am and the next time I looked at the clock it was 3pm... it's like I've been sucked into a black hole time conundrum. Last I looked it was Monday and now it's Friday?! Sometimes I wish that I could just go Zach Morris style and throw up the "Time out" sign while the rest of the world stops around me. It's times like this when I am reminded that time really is the greatest gift we can give someone. I'm learning a lot about life balance and how to allocate my time best right now. It's a challenge! I know it is one many small business owners encounter on a daily basis... especially the moms of the world. I don't know how they juggle it all. My hats off to them for raising little gems like Murph, running businesses and still keeping their cool.
Happy Friday, may little Murph make you smile like he did me :)

I love this family! I’m so glad they came back for some newborn portraits after their daughter, Zoe, was born. The story of Eowyn & Greg…
begins with their engagement session in 2008…

And their wedding August of ’08…

And, now their new baby, Zoe!

And Zoe’s proud big sister.

A few weeks ago, I spent the morning with my friends Jonathan & Diana and their adorable girls, Abigail and Sarah Beth. We went to the park for some family photos and had a fun time on the playground, running in the field, and chasing frogs & butterflies! Here are a few of my favorites from our morning…
The girls

Haha, typical sisters!

The happy family

Baby Sarah

Oh my gosh, I love this face!!!!

Admiring the quilt made for her by our friend Jennifer :)

Abigail :)
Can you see how her little lips are all pursed??? Oh, she’s so cute!

and happy!

Gotta love the pigtails!

Jonathan & Diana, I’m so glad we were finally able to do this! Your girls are so sweet! And it’s so fun watching them growing up and getting their little personalities. I love you guys and can’t wait to see what amazing people these little girls grow up to be!

Baby Logan came to visit me and what a cute little peanut he is! I couldn’t help but sneak a couple kisses during the session! He came wide awake and fought sleep for a while but we got him good and ready for a nap so I could snag a few pics of him!
Thanks so much Danelle for stopping in and letting me cradle Logan! He’s absolutely beautiful!
Happy Thursday!

Lainie has grown so much since I saw her last! She still has a full head of hair and is so adorable! Even at this age you can tell she finds pure joy in everything! She just makes everyone else around her smile too.
Here's Ms. Lainie.

Look at all that hair!!!

So cute.

I love the little piece of grass in with her feet.

Hilarious!

We all thought she might take a little nap here.

Snuggling in with Mommy and Daddy.
