anne+sean’s port townsend wedding was pure M.A.G.I.C. it was almost impossible to pick my favorite part. it could be the fun speakeasy theme or the amazing design by matthew parker or even the beautiful view from the clam cannery… nah, my favorite part of the whole day would have to be the love and chemistry anne+sean have for each other. i know, i know, how cheesy, but seriously! just look at the photos!

BEST OF 2011 WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY: PORTRAITS + CEREMONY

Last week I posted some of my favorite getting ready and first look photos, along with a handful of portraits … so today it’s all about the ceremony. OK, and maybe a few more portraits to get the ball rolling.

In 2011 I had the good fortune to photograph in some amazing places, and the photos below came from Seattle (a super cool indie wedding no less), Wentworth by the Sea Country Club, The Connor Family Retreat, The Liberty Hotel (and the Cambodian ceremony the day before at a private home outside Boston), Turner Hill in Ipswich, MA (possibly my favorite estate venue in the area), Belle Mer (my new favorite Newport, RI venue), The Paulist Center in Boston, a private home south of the city, a winter wedding on the beach in Plymouth, MA, Le Meridien in Cambridge, The Boston Marriott Cambridge (an amazing Indian wedding!), The Taj Boston (love that rooftop terrace), The Omni Mount Washington Hotel in the White Mountains (a fairytale venue if ever there was one), Cambridge City Hall (my most intimate wedding of the year with just the couple, myself and the officiant present), an old favorite – Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, MA, and a number of cute churches dotted around the New England area. We are waiiiiting! :o)

So, I think I’ve gone over my to-do list the third time now, haha! Our little peanut is supposed to come by the end of the week, and we are soooooo ready! :o) I wish I could count down the days until I finally get to hold our baby in my arms, but then it doesn’t want to tell me when the big day will be here, haha … so mama is waiiting and waiiiiting :o)

My email auto responder is already turned on, and I’m sorry in advance for any delayed emails from my end …. I’m probably cleaning the house and doing laundry …. haha.

I’ll keep you guys posted about our new arrival, and I’m sure there will be an overload of newborn photos once it makes it big entrance ;o)

While we’re still waiting for *our* baby to arrive (haha), I was able to sneak in yet an other session, this time with ADORABLE Caroline, who is turning one next weekend :o) Love this little girl :o)
