Lynn and Gary’s wedding at Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park in Waterford, CT was nothing short of emotional, heartfelt, super fun and just all around fabulous! Harkness State Park is one of my most favorite places to photograph. The number of different nooks and crannies that you can photograph in are basically endless, (I’m going to go out on a limb here and say:) it is hands-down one of the most magnificent places to have a wedding in all of Connecticut!! (But hey, that’s just my fancy, humble opinion!!!) Alison and I had a fantastic time shooting it!
Hair and makeup started the day and we were lucky enough to get to photograph the magic of Dana and Catie from Dana Bartone and Co. (You will ALWAYS hear me recommend Dana Bartone and Co. – they are really, really amazing and very passionate about what they do. Anyone would think you were really, really smart if you hired them for your big day!)

Below is a combination of Alison’s shots and my shots.

HOLY SMOKES! Let me just take a minute and express my love for Jane Rynaski of Just For You Weddings! She makes the most beautiful, organic, fresh and simply lovely arrangements. I adore her work. She is a true artist. You’d also be really, really smart to hire her!!!
Take a look at her bouquets below!

SO, SO SOOOO much love! So much fun! Lynn and Gary, here’s to a million years of forever.
xoxoxo,
Katie

Jennifer and Joseph were married on July 16, 2010 in the beautiful gardens of Meson Sabika in downtown Naperville. We started the day off with wedding party and family photos in the near by DT Naperville as well as the fantastic gardens of Meson Sabika. As afternoon approached the wedding party prepared for the Ceremony, which was stunning, back lit by a warm glow of afternoon sunshine. Immediately following the ceremony was a cocktail hour, everyone was enjoying themselves and the delicious tapas being served. As dinner time approached, there were many great toasts, a beautiful cake was cut and then the party really began…and this bunch was filling the dance floor all night long. I had such an amazing time documenting Jen and Joe’s wedding day, and I have so many favorites images, here are a few. Congratulations Jennifer and Joseph!!

Kyle and Timm were married on June 19, 2010 in Napervillle at Kyle’s Grandparents house outside in a beautiful tent. This was a very special location for the wedding as well as a very special wedding date as Kyles Grandparents, Jan and Bernie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary!! They did not know, but Kyle and Timm plan special events for them all night, including cutting a cake and dancing to their first song….but I am getting ahead of myself. I met up with Timm in the morning, it was a perfect day for a wedding not a cloud in he sky. I arrived at Timm’s parents house, for a quick set of photos with the guys, before leaving them with Christina, my second shooter. They had a blast, going to the liquor store and riding the trolley to the church, have too much fun I think (poor Christina, lol:) I headed over to Grandma’s house to grab some getting ready photos of the gals, and family photos in the gorgeous backyard! A moment later the trolley arrived and we were off to Koten Chapel for the ceremony. After Church we headed around downtown Naperville for 2 hours of photos with the wedding party, and some partying on the trolley before going back to the reception. EVERYONE, was have the time of their lives….and the trolley driver was a hoot! The party was amazing, such fabulous light, great places for more photos, fun things to do, such as LMP amazing photo booth set up OUTDOORS ( a first for LMP
I blinked and the night was coming to a close, the dance floor was packed and the party was rocking. I had an amazing time at Kyle and Timm’s wedding, here are some of my favorites from the story of their day. Plus a second post with some fun photo booth photos. Let me know what you think, enjoy!!
