I was sort of despairing about the weather because it was wet-wet-wet the day of the shoot, but right before we met  the sun came out. Sweet relief! Rain isn’t usually a huge impediment to shooting on the East side of the mountains because we just don’t get that much. (Wind? That’s another story. I’ve had to reschedule more than a few sessions due to nasty winds.) Shooting in Seattle is always fun, but I always have to brace myself for possibly having to hammer out a session in cafes, under eaves, and in other indoor spots because it’s one wet city, especially this time of year. We took a gamble on the weather and came out winners.

This was the first time I had the opportunity to meet Amanda and Eric in person (they booked me online) and we hit it off. I’m looking forward to their wedding in Pullman this fall. Rolling wheat fields? Yes, please.

Their style & loves were all the more reason why we are a perfect match.  We had a great time perusing through Pike Place in between the intermittent raindrops & dry patches on that stereotypical Seattle day.

I had a great time getting to know you better, Jordan & Elise!  And your dogs are the best :)  I’m totally looking forward to your wedding in September…we should be guaranteed for dryer weather by then!
