• This couple came to me from two different roads of referrals! Ashley’s sorority sister Erin referred her to me and Adam’s cousin is Craig. Crazy how referrals come together sometimes! It’s also fun to see TWO past couples at a wedding, yay!
• You may remember this couple from their fall engagement session last year in Chagrin Falls.
• We started the day off with the bride at her father’s house with the most amazing window light, it was so fantastic! I wish all homes had window light like they had, amazing!
• The whole day was so easy going and relaxed and thankfully another perfect weather day! While it was still warm the humidity was down and the guys weren’t completely dead in their tuxes.
• There were a ton of special personal touches and details throughout the day but my most favorite was the unique escort card arrangement. Ashley lived in NYC for a while when her and Adam were dating and they both loved Columbus Circle so they had a photo of it blown up and then the escort cards were tiny pieces of the picture. So awesome!
• Special thanks to my second shooter Nicole from Simply Told Photography for assisting!

See what I mean about the amazing windows?

I love her Loubs!

This moment between Ashley and her father is so sweet.

Nicole captured this perfect image of the wedding vows.

Those Catholics sneak in that first kiss unexpectedly sometimes!

Such a gorgeous wedding party!

Nicole captured this hilarious picture of the bridesmaids laughing.

LOVED these bridesmaids dresses!

Nicole was playing with the guys while I got images of the girls. They were having a good time!

Favorite!

Isn’t this room amazing??

Ashley’s Dad started off the night with a toast that was both funny…

…and sweet.

Simple but this ring shot was my favorite of the night!

Adam said a few words and stated that this day was the best day of his life. So sweet.

First dance!

My favorite picture of the day!

The bridal party then joined the dance floor and they had some moves!

Then everyone joined and there was a lot of tailfeathers being shook on that dance floor!

Thank you to Adam and Ashley for hiring me for your wedding. It was an amazing day and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it!

I remember talking to Nancy and finding out she lived within about 20 minutes from me. I was immediately excited because in relation to Philadelphia, I’m pretty darn far away. So I don’t get many inquiries out this far in the burbs. But Nancy lived out my way – and was also currently involved with weddings as a videographer. Her dad has been one for quite some time now. I’m always honored to photograph people involved in the industry. Its very humbling that they chose me from hundreds of other photographers they have met or worked with before. So we got talking and Nancy told me her wedding was at The Mansion at Ridley Creek – which is a local state park. From that moment I knew it was going to be a pretty awesome wedding.

Kylie & Scott are a perfect example of the beautiful relationships we love to build with our clients over the years. They’re not only two of our biggest fans, but they’re also favorite people of ours. We’ve been with them for a lot of “biggies” including their engagement session, their wedding, and even Kylie’s dream of a honeymoon fashion shoot on Cape Cod! We were bowled over with excitement when Kylie asked us to photograph them again for their 3rd wedding anniversary. They traveled all the way up from Maryland to join us in beautifully scenic New Hope, PA, where we simply walked the town and talked and photographed. It felt just like old times. It was so great to see them again and help them celebrate this special occasion in such a meaningful and lasting way. A very Happy 3rd Anniversary, you two! Thanks so much for including us.
If you’re enjoying their photos, please feel free to leave a comment below. And don’t forget to click the button to “Recommend” us to your friends! Thanks.
See more with Kylie & Scott!

Here’s a true San Diego love story. Katie and Chris meet for the first time, at the Del Mar Racetrack, on opening day. Three years later…. the couple is engaged and will be returning to that exact spot to tie the knot!!! We photographed their engagement session at the Del Mar Fair and included their [...]

my friend david lives a whirlwind life…he works for world vision and was in a whopping 15 countries this year. therefore…his blogs are never in ‘real time’. he coined a brilliant term…”retro blogging.” seeing as jody and matt got married LAST NOVEMBER…this is definitely an exercise in retro blogging.
jody was claire’s maid of honor in july last year, and after claire & bobby’s wedding, she contacted me about traveling down to NJ to photograph her wedding.
matt really wanted pictures of his grandpa helping him put on his tie…and i’m SO glad he specifically requested these. they’re some of my favorites from the whole day!

pretty much everyone at the entire wedding doted on this little girl…and, like smart little girls everywhere, she gobbled it right up.

sometimes, when i’m doing family pictures…i tell everyone to pretend they’re on a roller coaster. there are a few reasons for this…
1) because who doesn’t look happy and excited when they’re on a roller coaster? especially if it’s just a pretend one that isn’t actually high up in the air…
2) for the POWAH! it’s intoxicating.

i probably took 100 images trying to get the motion blur in the windows, but i’m glad i persevered!

it was a really cold day, and they’d hired this fabulous trolley to take everyone between the ceremony and reception sites…so we made the most of it!

jody & matt, thanks for inviting me to join your celebration. sorry i’m the world’s most disorganized and delinquent blogger ever, and it took me so long to write about you guys.
