Wes & Brittany’s Eld Inlet Wedding

Wes & Brittany’s backyard wedding on the Eld Inlet in Olympia was absolutely beautiful! They were blessed with sunshine on what may have been one of the warmest days we experienced all summer in the Pacific Northwest. No detail was left undone–from Brittany’s necklace that was handmade by her mother from pearls that the family business grew in Fiji, to their gorgeous purple, pink & green decor, to the butterfly release during their ceremony–everything was perfect!

This little seal pup was just hanging out in the sun while we photographed the groomsmen out on the boats. So cute!

One of Brittany’s great aunt’s wishes was that she have a butterfly release after her ceremony, as a symbolic act of her & Wes’ new life together. As Wes & Brittany were pronounced husband and wife, their guests released the sleeping butterflies into the air. It was an incredible moment!

Congratulations Brittany and Wes! We are so grateful to have met you, and we have really enjoyed getting to know you and your family. You have been so hospitable and generous, and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Marco + Morgan

View Photographer Profile

A sunny day in April may be a tall order for a Saturday in Western Washington, but we got it!  Marco & Morgan was married on the most beautifully perfect spring day at the Grand Holiday Ballroom in Olympia.  Morgan is the cousin of another one of my friend/client’s.  You may remember this sweet family’s blog post- so it was fun to see the family again & how big Sloane has grown!  Marco’s sweet daughter was the flower girl & I loved how they included her in every event…there were some amazingly cute kids at this wedding!  And Marco & his daughter Katelyn’s dance had me pretty choked up, it was so sweet.  Marco and Morgan are such a perfect fit for each other…it has been so great getting to know them over the past  year.  It is so amazing to see how different couples’ strengths compliment each other & to witness it right from the start.  I still can’t get over how great my “job” is.  Thanks so much for having me, I hope you guys had a blast in Disneyland!

Sloane!
