Avery was born right before Christmas. Michael and Erin are just smitten with her and her full head of hair. I love how no matter how tired parents are after their baby is born, they still can't get enough of them. I just loved watching these two love on Avery.

BOSTON BABY PHOTOGRAHER: NICOLE, DAN + EVAN THREE MONTH SESSION

It doesn’t happen often these days, but when it does, it’s very special. What am I talking about? Baby photos of course! Most of my working life is dedicated to taking photos of couples in love, and I have to turn away a lot of family photo requests as weddings keep me so busy, but every so often I can’t resist and it’s such a treat to photograph a sweet family. One of my loveliest couples of all time, Melissa + Taylor, asked if they could gift a family photo session to their good friends Nicole and Dan. Dan was in their wedding, and I remembered loving each and every one of their friends. I was pretty excited to finally get a chance to meet up with them and take their family photos. Baby Evan is right about three months old and he is a beautiful, expressive baby. He’s also amazingly good – I’m not sure he cried once during the ninety minutes I was with them! Here are some of my favorites from our session:

Baby Lucy

Lucy is so tiny and sweet. She is all girl and her Mommy is making sure she's got all the accessories too. Kristin's got the cutest house too that made for a perfect setting for little Miss Lucy's newborn photos. She's one proud momma and is smiling through the exhaustion of those first weeks of having a newborn.

Lucy is one now! It feels like just the other day that I was holding her in the hospital while Jude kicked in my stomach still anxious to meet his friend. Now they both are a year old and ready to take on the world. Lucy you are just too cute and I can already see the hints of your Mommy in you!

Tara is one of my friends from high school and I love seeing her and catching up. She lives out in Baltimore so we don't get to see her that often. I miss having her smiling face around and so want to see these girls more! Quinn and Maeve are just to die for and Tara is expecting another little girl. Brendan will be surrounded by even more ladies!

Meredith is such a cutie!!! She might just be the calmest baby I have ever photographed. I hope she stays that way for Mommy and Daddy at night! :)

I loved everything about this family session! I felt right at home with Sammy and Joel and running around after them! They are totally all things boy and have hilarious energy.

You have to see these cuties. Here's Sam!

Little One: Ethan

We get to introduce our new nephew to you! We headed over to Ohio last week to meet him and let his older brother, Camden, and Zane run around like crazy monkeys! Soon enough Jude and Ethan will be doing the same which we can't wait to see. The grandparents don't know our secret plan to just drop off all four boys to them and LEAVE! Ha! We'll see if we can make that happen sometime.

But for this time we had a blast holding and loving on Ethan. He's just adorable and seems so tiny compared to the other three Laurent boys. Meet sweet Ethan, hanging out in his older brother's bean bag chair.

Zane and Camden are fighting over a train in the direction Ethan is looking. Ethan, you and Jude will share all the time, right??? :)

Little One: Joshua

Little Joshua is here and his parents are completely in awe of him. Dean and Tracy are just taken by their little guy and we are loving seeing them as parents. Jude's excited that his buddy is around and it will be fun to see them eventually play when they can get beyond laying around all day! :)

Tracy is a elementary teacher and her students made Joshua a bunch of cards. So sweet!
