Karla + Patrick – SLO mission + Embassy Suites

Karla + Patrick were married at the historic and amazingly charming San Luis Obispo mission in a traditional ceremony surrounded by tons of family + friends. The day started off with Karla getting ready at the Embassy Suites with all 10 of her bridesmaids + her mom around her. The awesome Melinda Tully of Melinda’s Makeup came out to help Karla get gorgeous. I was so excited to see all of the amazing details that Karla had put together because everyone knows I’m a details girl!!! Her hot pink shoes had me especially excited. Once the girls were ready we all headed to the mission to start with pics… while the girls were having fun my talented 2nd shooter (aka my handsome hubby) was off with Patrick and the guys getting their pictures underway. After the perfectly sweet ceremony was over and they were officially Mr. + Mrs. we wandered around downtown SLO looking for fun spots to take pictures of the new couple. As always it was so much fun running around with these two…. when I am around them I seem to never stop laughing. When pics were done we headed to their reception held at the Embassy Suites to rock the night away with the guests. The so very talented Joe Labarbera was on hand to keep the party going with his amazing DJ skills. I would have to say the highlight of the evening would have to be the surprise first dance that they had choreographed ahead of time that started off sweet and slow and ended up getting a lot crazier half way through, so awesome!
