Baby Logan came to visit me and what a cute little peanut he is! I couldn’t help but sneak a couple kisses during the session! He came wide awake and fought sleep for a while but we got him good and ready for a nap so I could snag a few pics of him!
Thanks so much Danelle for stopping in and letting me cradle Logan! He’s absolutely beautiful!
Happy Thursday!

Becky and Brendan got married in Glastonbury, having their reception at the Glastonbury Hills Country Club. It was an honor to be part of their wedding day and to document the moments for them that will someday, become one of their family’s heirlooms.
Here are my favorites from the day…lots of great moments!
Becky has a shoe feish, as do I come shooting time! She requested a side by side shot…so I snagged the white leather ottoman, threw in some of my little lights and used what lights were available in the background and came away with this…
Her entrance into the church! Ta-daaaa!
Prepping her veil before walking down the aisle.
Brendan didn’t stop smiling the while time she waked towards him…
Officially married…
I loved Brendan’s mom’s reaction!
I turned around in the church to get a different angle and spotted this quite woman in the very back of the church all by herself. It felt peaceful to me…
When Brendan stepped out of hte limo at the Country Club…these caught my attention right away. So I dropped to the ground (while still holding my composure of course) and snagged a couple shots…LOVE them.
Dad’s expression during their dance together…
They tricked their Best man and maid of honor during the cake cutting! Classic!
j
congrats to Becky and Brendan and thank you again for the honor of being chosen to photograph your wedding day!
Have a Happy Friday!

Last night I attended the Grace Ormonde Book Signing for Connecticut’s swankiest vendors in the wedding industry and chatted with Beth Chapman, who is the owner of The White Dress By The Shore in Clinton Connecticut! I have always recommended The White Dress to my clients who have not yet found the perfect wedding gown for themselves, mainly because I knew the dresses offered there were top of the line gowns, and the boutique itself brings on a whole new level of experience! I now can say even more good things about The White Dress after meeting Beth, which was such a pleasure! In talking with Beth I found out that one of my 2009 couples, Lauran and Carlos, are the Featured Wedding at The White Dress right now. You should take the time to check it out as well as browse their website! I am positive you won’t be disappointed!
Hope all is well with everyone! Have LOTS to share coming up on the blog including another newborn session, a handful of BEAUTIFUL weddings, and much more! ;o) Stay tuned!
Happy Tuesday!

I am so happy to share with you all Brianna and Dan’s wedding day images! I had enjoyed every second of photographing their day and I came away with a TON of keepers!
Here are some of my favorites from their day!
Venue: Fox Hill Inn
Flowers: Nancy’s Garden Party,
Music: Platinum Entertainment
Videographer: Custom Made Video
Brianna’s mom made her garter from her own wedding gown that she wore.
I was loving the touch of green in the bouquet…
I love being there during the getting ready. It can be such an emotional time putting your dress on the day of the wedding. It makes it all so real.
Brianna’s mom got emotional when her and Dan were reciting their vows!
I love kids at a wedding! It is always fun to photograph them…
and as I was photographing the two little flower girls I was listening to their VERY imaginative conversation! So cute!
We did the formals back at Brianna’s parents home.
Dan…looking handsome!
Off the Fox Hill Inn!
Congrats to Dan and Brianna and so happy you enjoyed Greece!
Happy Thursday!

Shannon and Rob got married in Greenwich, Connecticut and had their reception in New Rochelle, New York. I had fun with my girls, Maryanne and Kelley, who were there to help me through the day. We had some gorgeous weather and light and some really fun vibes at the reception!
Ceremony: Greenwich, CT.
Venue: VIP Country Club in New Rochelle
Dress: Paloma Blanca from Marie’s Bridal Shop
Flowers: Port Chester Florist
Cigars: CT Cigar Company
We started off at Shannon’s parent’s house in Greenwich. I loved the detailing on her dress.
Port Chester florists did a spectacular job on the flowers!
Shan’s gift from Rob….
Maryanne grabbed this shot while Shannon was getting ready!
cute…she was just so cute with that curly hair of hers!
The ring bearer and his adorable cute green kicks Shannon got him for the day!
Shannon looks so angelic here with the light! It was warm out but so worth stepping into the hot sun for this shot!
I could smell the sweet aroma of this cake while shooting it. Such a tease!
Shannon and her mom…
Rob likes cigars and so they had the CT Cigar Company come and provide the guests with a wide range of cigars! I loved these guys! They were super nice to the guests and really did a fantastic job, not to mention the roller comes in authentic Cuban attire!
As I was leaving the reception one of the bridesmaid’s flowers were just sitting on a table and I sat spotted this light and placed the flowers in it for a fun last shot of the night.
Congrats to Shan and Rob!
Happy 4th of July to all!

Liz and Frank got married at Tarrywile Park and Mansion last month. It was a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony and it all unfolded perfectly!
We started off shooting at their home in Danbury…
Bunch of Blooms in New Fairfield did all the beautiful floral work!
I was loving the beading on her dress…
ORANGE…need I say more! They were screaming FUN!
Liz had her boys walk her down the aisle. They did a fantastic job and were absolutely adorable!
Woohoo–Mom and Frankie are married! ;o)
Kelly Lindquist of Sweet Rewards was the creator of this masterpiece…
I don’t often get to have a piece of cake but my assistant grabbed me a piece and I was LOVING it! Moist as anything and scrumdiddlyumptious! (yes that is a word…I looked it up online to get the spelling right).
Congrats to Liz and Frank!
Happy Monday and first day of summer!

I love photographing newborns! I just LOVE it! It is everything about them that I love. Their smell, their innocence, their little animal noises they make! It is really something I adore completely! Cayiah was no exception. As soon as I saw her all cuddled up cozy in her car carrier I melted! She is just so perfect! Peach fuzz hair and rosy skin!
Cayiah is number 4 in the line of sisters in her family. That’s right…4 girls! God Bless Carla and Jermiah! I am so honored to have been able to capture this beautiful peanut at just 10 days old!
Cayiah was born Memorial Day weekend!
Thanks so much Carla for bringing Cayiah in to have some fun! ;o) It was great catching up with you!
Happy Friday!

Just a quick personal post before I head out for the weekend to shoot Becky and Brendan’s wedding up in Glastonbury, CT. I have limited time to spend with my kids that doesn’t involve taxi-ing them around from school to home and back again. So Monday on Memorial Day I fully enjoyed being able to have fun with them! I watched them both march in the parade in downtown Danbury and Matt and I BBQ’d with them, roasted marshmallows over the fire-pit to make smores, planted tomatoes in the garden, and lit off a few fireworks! It was the best day we have had in a loooooooong time!
I know it is REALLY cheesy but I have to say that Nina’s future is SO bright…she has to wear two shades! ;o) (see…I told you it was cheesy!)
I am so happy they have each other as best pals through life! What memories they will share together!
After the parade they had some parachuters! It’s not the best pic…but I failed to bring my 70-200 so I did the best I could with what lenses I had! One of my pet peeves is never wanting to lug my gear around while not working and then seeing a shot and not having what I need in order to capture it! Note to self: bring all gear.
So I hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day to the fullest with fine family and friends!
Enjoy the weekend and Happy Friday!

Jen and Mike chose to do their Engagement shoot in New York City. I never say no to an opportunity to photograph in New York. We were actually threatened with rain the morning of, but the skies cleared in time for our shoot and the wind was blowing like crazy. Like knock you over windy. There were quite a few times I had to up my shutter just so I could keep a sharp picture due to the fact that I wasn’t able to keep my stance and keep my lens steady.
We started off in Grand Central. I love shooting in Grand Central because it is such a grand place (which is probably how it got it’s name) with such history. However, I have to say, the lighting can be muddy and not the best for a photographer. While I was waiting for Jen and Mike to show up I sat for a few minutes and thought about how I was going to tackle this specific Grand Central Engagement! Then I saw the light…and I mean that literally. There was one patch (and really there was only this one patch) of light that seeped through from a window up above. It was a very small patch but just enough to put Jen and Mike in if they cuddled up close to each other. I figured that wouldn’t be an issue with them! It was a partly cloudy day so I had to be quick to shoot and then patient for the light to return. It was worth it. Thank you little patch of light!
We hailed a cab to the meat packing industry and shot along some of the streets there and made our way up to the Highline! On this windy day it was a challenge for sure! Woo boy was it windy!
We did notice this little painted sign on the side of the road while we were pulling up in the cab. The painters were there painting the wall so I guess we made it just in time!
Just in case you weren’t sure…Jen said YES!
Jen works from CONAIR and she does some hand modeling there when needed…so I utilized her talents! ;o) She does great work!
One of the things I love about shooting Engagements in NYC, besides getting to know my couples, is that you never know what you’re going to come away with from the day. Yellow never was in my mind when the possibilities were flowin’ prior to the shoot. I LOVE yellow and it worked with Jen’s cute Anthropologie dress. So we went with it!
There was a man sitting right behind me when I was up on this bench. I felt bad asking him to move so I worked around him in hopes that he’d move for me…but he didn’t! ;o)
Up on the highline…which was ferociously windy. That’s me over there to the right in case you were wondering! ;o)
Don’t worry…I took one without me in it so Jen and Mike don’t always have to be reminded of me! ;o)
So I had a lovely time getting to know you both Jen and Mike and I REALLY can’t wait for the big day!
ENJOY and Happy Tuesday!

One of my favorite meals of the day…Breakfast! Here is why:
1.There is nothing like the first sip of coffee to rev up my otherwise sluggish brain. I just love the first sip for some reason. It is like heaven on earth. It satisfies me in every way and it centers me. I have to put much thought into not spilling it on my journey from the counter to the table. I have to slowly bring it to my mouth so as not to sip too fast and burn my tongue (one of my pet peeves…a burnt tongue).
2.There is nothing like 15 minutes (really seconds for me on most days) to myself to read the newspaper and see what’s new in the world. It’s honestly the only time through out the day that I actually get to read anything besides my email.
3.There is nothing like a wholesome helping of yogurt with granola, eggs (made by my boyfriend), and freshly squeezed orange juice. I am pushing it with the “freshly squeezed” bit.
4.There is nothing like beautiful morning sunshine pouring through the windows at the breakfast table.
5.Hearing my daughter call her cereal “Snap , Papple, and Pop” is the best thing in the world.
6.Hearing my son’s excitement in the fact that he “winned” the race to get dressed this morning.
Those are the things I want to remember in life when they are older and no longer acknowledge me! ;o)
I will cherish these years FOREVER and always remember what breakfast was like when they were “my babies”.
Happy Friday!
